National Numeracy Day!
On Wednesday 18th of May, we celebrated National Numeracy Day. The learners watched videos and discussed the importance of numbers in our everyday lives.
As maths lead, I ran a competition for all of the Lower Site where the learners had to draw their future dream job and had to include ideas around their design of ways in which maths was connected. I had so many wonderful nominations but chose 2 winners from KS2 and 2 winners from KS3. The winners were announced in our celebration assembly on Friday.
