Money, Money, Money – Teaching Financial Literacy
This week, our Lower Site learners have been counting pennies and pounds and working with money to solve math problems. The learners were given a budget and a shopping list, and they had to figure out how much money they could spend, including change.
Teaching children about money provides them with the knowledge and skills they need to effectively manage their money now and in the future. Conversations about money help the learners gain confidence in the subject and develop their financial skills.
