Nurture Environment in the Igloo
For some of our learners who have recently struggled with the classroom environment, we have developed a bespoke curriculum in our Igloo setting. As a SEMH school, we strive to meet all of our learner’s needs, no matter how complex they are.
We hope that by combining expressive play and sensory time with one-on-one learning, this group will allow these children to grow at the Lower Site. Our goal is for these learners to gain the skills necessary to reintegrate back into their classrooms with their peers and access their full curriculum. This has been a success thus far, and we will continue to build on this nurture group throughout the year.
