At the Lower Site, the core of computing is Computing Science in which learners are introduced to a wide range of technology, including laptops, iPads, PCs, interactive whiteboards and a range of digital devices, allowing our learners to continually practise and improve the skills they learn.

Learners at the Lower Site have been busy making their own pathway around the onsite woodlands. They have worked so hard on this project transporting wood chippings and tarpaulin to create a picturesque pathway. 

This week, our Lower Site learners have been counting pennies and pounds and working with money to solve math problems. The learners were given a budget and a shopping list, and they had to figure out how much money they could spend, including change.

Ford learners at the Lower Site have been mixing up a magical medicine: Using some rather unusual ingredients, the learners have written down their magic medicine ingredients and the method needed to make their concoction.

Learners at the Lower Site have been experiencing djembe drumming as well as the cultural and social significance of music, traditionalism, and collaboration. The name 'Djembe' stems from the translated expression "everyone meet together in harmony".
