Outdoor Education | Jesmond Dene
This week Group 2 went to Jesmond Dene for our outdoor activity day with Mike from the Upper site. The aim of the outdoor education trip was to improve team-building skills and working together. We had fun doing a scavenger hunt where each student was given a list of objects to find. We learnt how to make a tent from a camouflage sheet where we took shelter from the wind. We also used the sheet to make a stretcher and took it in turns to carry each other, this is the training Mike told us they learnt in the army. Everyone had so much fun and collected lots of conkers. We were all ready for our lunch when we got back to school.
