Our learners have been thoroughly enjoying the exciting stories of author Michelle Paver, whose books capture the imagination with adventure, mystery, and unforgettable characters.

On July 18th, we held our Celebration Event to honour the achievements of all our learners. It was also a heartfelt farewell to our Year 6 and 7 learners, who will be moving on—either to our Upper Site or beginning an exciting new chapter at their next school.

For Summer 2025 we will be issuing free school meal vouchers to all learners who are eligible for free school meals. Vouchers will be issued week commencing the 7th of July 2025.

We would like to invite you to a workshop to find out about how children learn to read and write at the Lower Site. As a school, we use the Read Write Inc Phonics scheme. We will discuss how the children learn each of the sounds and how they learn to blend these sounds into words.
